Mizan

Terms of Service

Last updated 22 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Mizan, including askmizan.com and Mizan when used through an AI assistant. Mizan is run by Sandeep Singh Rai, Birmingham, United Kingdom. By using Mizan you agree to these terms.

What Mizan is

Mizan applies published Sharia screening methodologies (AAOIFI, Dow Jones Islamic, S&P Shariah and MSCI) to public company financial data and share prices, and reports the result under each standard.

Information, not advice

Mizan provides information only. It is not investment, financial, tax or religious advice, and it is not a fatwa or a ruling by a Sharia board. Screening results depend on the data available and on how each standard is interpreted, and standards can disagree. Please check important decisions with a qualified scholar or financial adviser. Mizan does not hold money, place trades or connect to your brokerage account.

Accuracy

We work to keep results accurate and to show the data behind each verdict, but Mizan is provided as is, without any guarantee that results are complete, current or error free. Data can be delayed and company filings can be restated.

Fair use

Please do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or resell its output in bulk without our agreement.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made using Mizan. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

Paid features

If paid features are offered, their price and terms will be shown before you buy.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
